THE RESULTS for 2011!

Endorphin Festival went one step forward this year, with the creativity of Voltage Selector, The NPR Crew and Undersky Collective. People showed enthusiasm and respect for all the artists, genres, and environment. The Municipality assisted by providing basic services such as a cantine with really good local food and working bathrooms in the fest area. Even though the continual rain was a dissapointment, the turn-out was better than expected, since people enjoyed the music under rainy atmosphere. You can check more shots from the fest here.

Endorphin Festival counts already 4 years of existence since its first appearance. In 2005 the youth of Milea's and Elassona's sub-prefectures held a meeting and decided to launch this controversial project for the specific region. The crew was formed, and created what was to become the fastest growing event in the Greek countryside; “ENDORPHIN” festival.  The concept was to hold a musical gathering in harmony with nature and with music in the background.

 

The crew gathered and started the first events in the region and in villages in order to familiarize the people with the sound of Electro-Techno, in places where such events were inexistent. As the project grew and started making good progress, the crew found refuge in “ENDORPHIN”, where annually everybody presents his own "Sound". Due to the continuous enthusiasm shown by the people and its ever-growing presence, the crew tries to organize the festival in the best possible way.

 

“ENDORPHIN” takes place under a bridge next to a river every year on May 1st (this year: 29th and 30th April) in the area of "Hani Hatzigogou" located at the 65th km of the Larissa-Kozani highway, between the villages of Geraneia and Milea, by the shadow of Olympus mountain.

 

Djs, Music Producers and Artists form the electronic dance music scene, as well as others, participate voluntarily and support the idea behind “ENDORPHIN” Festival.

 

Organizers' target is, with the help of the municipality, to ensure a clean and pleasant area, offering space for a camping site to those wishing to camp, at no charge.                              

 

This year the festival, in cooperation with "Voltage Selector", continues with  minimal, techno beats, deep house, electronica, progressive, etc. but is expected to fully satisfy both the visitors and the artists themselves as the organizers cooperate also with "Undersky Collective" in order to cover a large, if not the entire, spectrum of electronic music starting from genres such as: low tempo, trip hop, lounge, new jazz and is expected to surprise us with the sounds of : 2step, garage, grime and Dubstep.

 

All money raised from donations will meet the needs of the festival, such as advertising, promotion, equipment, lighting and sound, and everything that is necessary for cleaning the area after the festival in order to protect the environment in any way.

Endorphin Festival 2011 GR VER.

Το Endorphin Festival αριθμεί ήδη 4 χρόνια από τη πρώτη του εμφάνιση.Ένα crew απο την Περιοχή Μηλέας & Ελασσόνας είχε ως σκόπο να διοργανώσει ενα μουσικό gathering σε αρμονία με τη φύση και background τη μουσική.

Το crew ξεκίνησε τα πρώτα events στην επαρχεία και σε χωριά με σκοπό να κάνει γνώριμο τον ήχο της Electro-Techno στον κόσμο, και σε χώρους που δεν είχε τόσο συχνά προσβαση σε τέτοιου ειδούς events. Αφου μεγάλωσε και ξεκίνησε σιγά σιγά τα βήματα του,βρήκε καταφύγιο στο Endorphin,όπου ο καθένας καθε χρόνο παρουσιάζει το δικό του ''Ήχο''. Η απήχηση του κόσμου ειναι καθε χρόνο και μεγαλύτερη και για αυτο η διοργάνωση προσπαθει για τον καλυτερο προγραμματισμό του φεστιβάλ.

Το Endorphin πραγματοποιείται κάθε χρόνο την 1η Μαη (φέτος θα πραγματοποιηθεί 2 μέρες :29 και 30 απρίλη) σε πλατανόδασος στη περιοχή "Το Χάνι του Χατζηγώγου" που βρίσκεται στο 65ο χλμ. Λάρισας-Κόζανης στην Περιοχή του Χωριού Μηλέα στους πρόποδες του Ολύμπου κάτω απο μια γέφυρα,δίπλα στο ποτάμι.

Djs, Μουσικοί Παραγωγοί, και Kαλλιτέχνες με φόντο την ηλεκτρονική μουσική καθώς και άλλοι που συμμετέχουν το κάνουν εθελοντικά για να στηρίξουν την ιδέα στην οποία βασίζεται το Endorphin Festival.

Μέριμνα των διοργανωτών με τη βοήθεια του Δήμου είναι να εξασφαλίσουν έναν καθαρό και ευχάριστα διαμορφομένο χώρο, προσφέροντας χώρο ελεύθερου camping για διαμονή σε όσους επιθυμούν να κατασκηνώσουν, Φυσικά δεν υπάρχει κάποιο αντίτιμο σε όλες τις παροχές του φεστιβάλ.

Φέτος το φεστιβάλ σε συνεργασία με την "Voltage Selector" συνεχίζει στους ρυθμούς της minimal, techno, deep house, electronica, progressive κ.α. αλλα αναμένεται να ικανοποιήσει πλήρως τόσο τους επισκέπτες όσο και τους ίδιους τους καλλιτέχνες καθως οι διοργανωτές σε συνεργασία και με την "Undersky Collective" έχουν μεριμνήσει να καλύψουν ένα μεγάλο αν όχι όλο το φάσμα της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής που ξεκινά απο είδη όπως : low tempo, trip hop, lounge, new jazz και αναμένεται να μας ξαφνιάζει με τους futuristικούς ήχους της : 2step, garage, grime και Dubstep.
Όλα τα χρήματα που θα συγκεντρωθούν απο τους χορηγούς, θα πάνε για τις ανάγκες του φεστιβάλ, όπως είναι η διαφήμηση-προώθηση, ο εξοπλισμός, τα συστήματα φωτισμού και ήχου, καθώς και για τα απαραίτητα για τον καθαρισμό του χώρου.
